Reward Your Clients During the Holiday Season

You can issue gift certificates or just say, “Hey, Merry Christmas, this week is on me.” There are no rules or guidelines or etiquette to dictate how to do this, just use the style that works best for you and you’re clients will be happier and more appreciative than you can imagine.
If you want to get really creative, offer a few sessions to your client and throw another 2 or 3 sessions at them to give to a close friend or family member who may be thinking getting into a personal training regimen. There’s no right or wrong way to run this kind of program, just try to be consistent and keep proper track of the sessions that you give to avoid confusion and/or inconvenience.
The holiday season is also a great time to push your client referral program – you do have a client referral program, don’t you? – as people are always looking for gift ideas. I offer 1 complimentary session to a client who purchases a 6 session gift certificate, and give them 2 sessions if the gift certificate is for a spouse, kid s or parents. You will find that family members are the best source of new clients and they are extremely loyal, to boot.
It’s not corny or hokey to think of your clients of family members. As a matter of fact, treating clients as family can go a long way to ensure the success of your business, while serving to separate yourself from the many faceless and soulless big box fitness facilities that dominate the gym landscape.
Express appreciation for you clients by providing them with complimentary training sessions at the holiday season.
